So here I am on this new platform. Well, it’s new to me. I’ve been searching for a space where I can express myself through writing and share it with the world. But I wonder: how do I start? That’s often the question when creating anything— and why do I do it? I’m pretty sure millions of us humans ask ourselves that same question. And it’s often followed by the need to explain it: “I must explain why I do what I do!” But sometimes, the answer is simpler than we think. I don’t always have a specific reason for creating, sometimes, I just do it because I like it. There’s something deeply satisfying about taking a material and transforming it into something new, something that wasn’t there before. It’s play, exploration and self-expression all mixed into one.

But there’s more to it than that. Words can be limiting. They’re labels, definitions, yet they also have the power to transcend. Perhaps that’s why I wear so many hats in the art world. Illustrations or sculptures can open doors to a…
